You are that kid who spends his time watching rounders believing that the game he is playing isn't a simple roll of the dice, but that it actually takes a significant amount of skill. Play poker for fun, their is no future in gambling and that's exactly what poker is.

You are obviously someone that has never played the game or taken the time to learn. It is a skill game, not gambling and there are MANY millionaires from poker, online and live not to mention those that simply make a good living by playing. I could probably name 50 known players both online and live that make their living doing this

Young kids like you fall into the casino's trap, they present poker as a game of "skill" so idiots go and lose all their money while paying the casino X$ every X minutes. Their is some skill in poker, their is a certain amount of skill in almost everything, but in the end 99% of the people will be in the RED. They get caught up in the game, don't manage their roll correctly, make big stupid plays, fall into debt, try to prove too much or get into drugs because of the massive inflow of easy money

Gus did what he needed to do cause he didnt have a clue what his opponent had. He looked totally puzzled. I like that guy, not only cause he is an entertaining poker player but also cause hes just a nice bloke.

hansen is the luckiest player i've ever seen, hitting his one out for about 600k, hitting his runner runner for 200k...you can be the greatest player in the world like negreanu or seidel, but you cannot dodge unlucky monster hands, and hansen wins...last week i was watching him playing on full tilt and lost a lot of cash, loading and reloading 50k each time...i think he has more luck than skill, as he has long losing series.

Thats how hes a multi millionaire,All cash coming from poker.Gus hansen in a brilliant player online and live.Fair enough he got lucky in this hand with the q on the river but still folding top two pair would have been hard within itself.Gus is one of my favoured pro`s about these days guy dosent realy criticise people plays he lets people play there own game unlike people like phil hellmuth/Daniel nergradeau even phil ivey in some occasions.

No one is lucky at this level. The price and position were right for him to stay in on the flop with his top pair and high kicker. Then he matched his Q for top two pair, checked, and Seidel gave him some action with a good price. You would lay down top two pair with 3.75:1 pot odds? Sure... I love how everyone on youtube is an expert, who knows better than these guys. Make sure you wear a nametag at the 2009 WSOP final table that says "Hello, my name is MrCheckRaise1 from youtube"

that's luck, luck is involved in every level! did he make an incredible play that you can't call it luck? i would have played it the same way, but trust me, luck is everywhere, and i've seen lucky players and unlucky ones,look daniel negreanu, he's the unluckiest, and sometimes also when he plays well he's unlucky and there's no escape in that situation, hansen is the luckiest and he knows it,also against daniel.i've never seen a big beat for hansen when he played good...send me if you have it.
